• Easy application and ability to remove excess if needed
• Scar-free healing
• Very few contraindications
• Very good profitability: cost of Vercid relative to the number of treatments performed with one pot
Instructions for use:
The treatment is usually effective after only 2 to 4 applications, at a rate of one application per treatment session.
Dr. Jouille's protocol:
1. Remove superficial hyperkeratosis with your scalpel
2. Apply Vercid to the area using a cement spatula, then wait a few minutes
3. Cover with an occlusive plaster
4. Finish by protecting with a dressing (e.g. Hypafix)
This protocol should be followed during each consultation. Schedule a consultation every 2-3 days. On average, 2 to 4 consultations will be needed to completely eliminate hyperkeratosis.
When the treatment is coming to an end, a small blister (phlyctena) may appear on the treated area. This is completely normal, as it indicates the success of the product's action.
Warning: Dr. Jouille's Vercid is a product intended strictly for professional use.
Contraindications:
Thanks to its composition, Vercid can be used without contraindication in pregnant or breastfeeding women or children over 5 years of age.
It can also be used on diabetic patients who do not suffer from neurological or vascular complications.
The powerful action of Vercid can sometimes lead to painful reactions, unrelated to the amount of Vercid used or the type of callosity treated. In case of mild pain, it is advisable to take an analgesic. In case of excessive pain, remove the dressing directly, rinse and clean the foot thoroughly, reapply a dressing, and make another appointment with a podiatrist.
