Urgoplastic - Discreet dressing fixation - Urgo
This micro-perforated tape is indicated for dressing fragile skin and for securing probes and catheters without visual obstruction, ensuring perfect monitoring.
Urgoplastic allows the wound and skin to breathe. Hypoallergenic, it respects sensitive skin for easy use.
It can be cut without scissors!
Directions for use:
Apply to clean skin, disinfected with an antiseptic, then rinsed with saline solution and dried.
The tape is easily tearable to adapt the length of the strip to its use.
Remove gently and replace every 24 hours on average, or as prescribed.
Precautions for use:
Keep out of reach of children.
Designed to stick to healthy skin.
The concomitant presence of greasy products or hair, use on moist areas, or on joint areas, may impair adhesiveness and lead to the loss of the maintained medical device and a delay in healing (infection, multiple dressing changes, etc.)
When applying, do not create tension on the skin or the tape (risk of irritation, tourniquet effect).
To maintain optimal healing conditions, replace the tape if it is wet or if adhesiveness is lost.
The maintenance of medical equipment must have been explained by a healthcare professional.
Do not sterilize.
Contraindications:
Not suitable for fixing/maintaining wet material or probes (hematology, resuscitation, incubators).
Adverse effects:
This tape may cause skin reactions such as redness, irritation, dermatitis, or pain upon removal, particularly on dry or damaged skin.
In case of local reaction or itching, stop using the product and consult your healthcare professional.
Contains colophony derivatives which may cause skin allergy.
To minimize any risk of infection or skin reactions:
- Strictly follow the instructions for use. Do not reuse used tape.
- Do not apply the tape directly to damaged skin, eyes, or mucous membranes (risk of irritation, inflammation, pain).
- Do not use after the expiry date. Do not use a damaged product.
Any serious incident related to this product must be reported to URGO HEALTHCARE Laboratories and the National Health Agency.
